SinisterRabbit is my personal corner of the internet.
The domain first appeared in the early 2000s because I thought the name sounded cool. That was reason enough back then. Over time, it became something more meaningful, a place to think out loud about the things that stay with me long after everyone else has moved on.
This site lives somewhere between my memory and curiosity.
Old games that still feel important.
Movies that linger.
Pop culture that refuses to fade.
Moments that feel small but worth documenting anyway.
There’s no strict structure and no real agenda beyond showing up and writing.
SinisterRabbit isn’t a news site, a review site, or a content strategy. It’s more like a journal shaped by nostalgia, creativity, and whatever happens to be occupying my thoughts at a given time. Some posts are longer reflections. Others are brief snapshots. The only real rule is that the subject has to matter to me.
I grew up during a time when the internet felt smaller, stranger, and more personal. People built their own spaces and filled them with whatever they loved. They weren’t optimizing for reach or performance. They were experimenting, learning, and sharing simply because they could.
This site is my attempt to return to that mindset.
There are no algorithms to chase here. No growth plans. No publishing quotas. Just a quiet corner where I can write about the things that shaped me, and the things that continue to shape me.
Some of the featured images on SinisterRabbit are created using AI tools. They’re used as editorial illustrations, visual companions to personal writing, not as standalone artworks or attempts to imitate specific artists. Like many tools before them, they’re part of an evolving creative process. The goal is to support the tone of the writing, not to replace human creativity.
SinisterRabbit is written and maintained by me, Chris. In many ways, the site and I are interchangeable. It isn’t a brand or a publication. It’s simply the name of the place where I store my thoughts.
If you’ve found your way here, make yourself comfortable.
There’s no schedule, no pressure, and no grand plan.
Just stories, memories, and the occasional thought that felt worth saving.
